1. Global Dance Festival
The largest music festival in the Rocky Mountain region for the last thirteen years has reached down every July not only in Denver but even in the city’s highly famous event space – the Red Rocks amphitheater. Every year for one weekend, the biggest names and best acts in dance music take over the performance space built out of natural rock structure. Opening timing is from Friday Jul 15th & Saturday Jul 16th 2023.

2. Denver Chalk Art Festival
This grand festival of Denver showcases more than two hundred artists painting their masterpieces onto Larimer Square. All these artists turn this downtown district into a colorful museum of steel art which is free to the public.
The Larimer Arts Association which features five Madonnari( professionals in this medium) hosts this event. Two of the madonnari– Stephen DeOrio and Grace Hollenbeck are the residents of Colorado. There is live music on Friday night and also throughout the festival. This year, the event is going to take place on Saturday – Sunday, June TBD (To be decided) 2023.

3. Greeley Stampede
From the late 1800s, summers marked the rodeo season in Greeley each year. It is one of the best places to visit in the month of July. This cowtown is centrally located around an hour from Denver towards the north. In the late June and early July every year it turns into a cowboy mecca and it’s a heck of a party.
There is entertainment for everyone who attends this summer festival starting from the big-name country concerts, featuring the likes of the Band Perry and Kenny Rogers to the traditional rodeo favorites such as PRCA Xtreme Bulls riding and a demolition derby. It is free of cost to attend but some of the events are ticketed. This event is going to take place from June-July to 2023 TBD.

4. Denver County Fair
It is one of the Denver events that every visitor must attend. The Denver County Fair is infamous for portraying itself as unique– it boasts itself of being called out as “ the craziest county fair in America.” Organizers watch the venue for Denver residents to put forward ideas, traditions, creativity, local culture and intellect. It also gives the chance to portray the talent of the city, trends, diversity, and interests of the residents. It is a huge celebration full of live events, music, exhibitions, competitions, food, and a lot from that! It takes place in the month of July in 2023 TBD at the National Western Complex.
5. Five Points Jazz Festival
This festival begins on the third Saturday of May every year but this year it will begin on June 4th. Entry is free at this festival. It celebrates the history of Denver’s Five Points neighborhood. Five Points was a home for several jazz clubs and was once known as the Harlem of the West. These jazz clubs played as hosts to many jazz music legends such as Thelonius Monk, Miles Davis, and many more. You can count on it as the legendary Colorado Summer festival.
